§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Transport how many people were injured on the roads of Leicestershire during the first and during the second six months of each of the last 10 years for which records are available; how many and what percentage of injured persons died as a result: and how many and what percentage of injured and killed people, respectively, were pedestrians, drivers, passengers, children under the age of 6, 10 and 15 years, women over the age of 60 years, or men over the age of 65 years, respectively.
§ Mr. HoramStatistics of road casualties in local areas are a matter for the local authority concerned. I suggest that my hon. Friend gets in touch with Leicestershire County Council, which is the local highway authority.
