asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list the number of privately owned houses per thousand population in the United Kingdom, the United States of America, Canada, France, West Germany, Japan, and Italy in the following years: 1945, 1951, 1964, 1970, 1974, and at the latest available date.
