asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is yet in a position to say how many hospitals in each regional health authority have ultrasonic sound facilities; and how many offering amniocentesis each authority has.

Not yet. It is hoped that this information will be available to the Working Group on Screening for Neural Tube Defects in the autumn.
