Commission for Local Administration (Critical Reports)

Mr. John Ellis

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) how many reports were issued by the Commission for Local Administration which were (1) critical of the local authorities and bodies concerned, giving the number of cases and the bodies concerned, in each of the last four years;

(2) if he will give the names and number of cases in the last four years where the Commission for Local Government has issued a critical report; how many were not settled to the commissioner's satisfaction or are still outstanding; and if he will name the authorities involved.
