§ Mr. Tim Smithasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what proportion of the additional £44 million made available to the National Health Service in England during 1978–79 in the Chancellor's Budget speech will be used up by the increase in employers' national insurance contributions of 1½ per cent.; and if he will provide a similar figure in respect of the additional £3.8 million allocated to the Trent regional health authority.
§ Mr. MoyleI refer the hon. Member to the reply I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for East Kilbride (Dr. Miller) on 12th July. The Trent regional health authority will be notified of the increase in its cash limit shortly.
