§ Mr. MarksThe Rassau Coal Company Ltd recently appealed to the Secretary of State against Durham County Council's refusal of planning permission in this case. A petition opposing the754W proposed development and containing some 300 signatures has been received from the Pleasant View, Bradley and Pont Action Committee. It is proposed to hold a public local inquiry into the appeal.
