asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Ministry of Overseas Development; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Stag Place and 29 Bressenden Place;

(2) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Passport Office; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Clive House;

(3) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Department of Prices and Consumer Protection; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Victoria Street, Abell House and Sanctuary Buildings;

(4) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Prime Minister's office; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Downing Street;

(5) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive at meetings at 4–12 Queen Anne's Gate;

(6) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at Her Majesty's Treasury, and the Northern Ireland Office; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Great George Street and Queen Anne's Chambers;

(7) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Department of Trade; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Victoria Street, Abell House, Adelphi, Cleland House, Cromwell House, Dean Bradley House, Gaywood House, Hillgate House, Kings-gate House, Millbank Tower, Monsanto House, Parliament Square House, Sanctuary Buildings, Savoy Hill House, Shell Mex House, State House, 73–75 Strand, and Waterloo Bridge House;

(8) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at Her Majesty's Stationery Office; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Atlantic House, and Cornwall House;

(9) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Welsh Office; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Gwydyr House and Palace Chambers;

(10) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the department of the Treasury Solicitor; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at 2–3 Central Buildings, 35 Old Queen Street, Palace Chambers, 12 Buckingham Gate, and St. Stephens House;

(11) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Whitley Council; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at 19 Rochester Row;

(12) whether he will make a statement about the arrangements currently in force for the parking of bicycles at the Scottish Office, the Privy Council Office and the office of parliamentary counsel; and what steps are being taken to provide adequate facilities for those wishing to travel by bicycle who arrive for meetings at Whitehall.

Such requests are met wherever it is economically possible to do so, taking account of the requirements of the occupants and visitors and of the availability of space.
