Bingham, QC, for investigation in the course of his inquiry into evasion of sanctions against Rhodesia, the allegations made in his recent book by Mr. Jorge Jardim, the former Portuguese Minister, about the role of the then British Government in the matter.
§ Mr. RowlandsMy right hon. Friend understands that Mr. Jorge Jardim has been co-operating with the Bingham inquiry, and that the allegations in his recent book have thus been brought to the inquiry's notice.
