§ Mr. Peter Reesasked the Secretary of State for Trade what further measures he proposes to tighten control of ships in the Straits of Dover.
§ Mr. Clinton DavisShips in the Dover Strait are already required to comply with the requirements of the traffic separation scheme. In consultation with the French Government, we are urgently examining further measures to improve the safety of navigation there, including reporting-in by certain vessels.
