HC Deb 30 January 1978 vol 943 c61W
Mr. Nicholas Winterton

asked the Secretary of State for Industry how much public money has been given by his Department in the form of grants to the YKK Zip Fastener Company, Runcorn, Cheshire, during the last year for which figures are available.

Mr. Cryer

Apart from the quarterly publication inTrade and Industry of regional development grant payments in excess of £25,000, information about payments to individual companies is confidential between the applicant and the Department. However, the published figures of grant paid amounted in total to £314,000 in the period 1974–75 and 1975–76. No other form of assistance has been given by my Department under the Industry Act 1972.
