Mr. Grylls

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment how many appeals there were against refusal of planning permission for residential planning applications, in terms of the number of dwellings such appeals represented, in each of the years from 1967 to 1977 inclusive; and how many of these appeals were granted, in terms of the number of dwellings which they represented.
