§ Mr. Michael Lathamasked the Secretary of State for the Environment on how many occasions the Construction Industry Group met during its existence; when its last meeting took place; and whether he will make a statement on its achievements now that he has decided to discontinue it.
§ Mr. FreesonThe Construction Industry Liaison Group had 17 meetings. The last meeting was on 24th May 1977. The group's deliberations have been of considerable help in exploring the major issues facing the industry and have shown how informal dialogue between Government and the various sectors of the industry can develop.
