§ Mr. Fauldsasked the Prime Minister if he will set up a joint committee under a Home Office Minister to co-ordinate the policies of the various Government Departments and of the voluntary agencies towards the problems of refugees.
§ The Prime MinisterThe Government have carefully considered this proposal but have concluded that such a committee would not be an improvement on the present arrangements for consultation between Departments and with the voluntary agencies on the problems of refugees.
