§ Dr. GilbertThe Armed Forces have responded to a number of calls for assistance during the recent floods. There have been no requests for items of the kind to which the hon. Member refers, but, if any such requests were received, we would naturally see what could be done to help, subject in the normal way to appropriate arrangements being agreed with the local authorities concerned.
