§ Mr. John MorrisAt the NFU's Llandudno conference last December I expressed the hope that the two farming unions would take steps to establish a working relationship with each other. I made it clear that I did not seek to define the relationship and, therefore, did not call for unification. I have not had an official response from either union nor did I necessarily expect one; it is for them to deal directly with each other.
