§ Mr. OakesThe Council is making steady progress in the development of new courses and awards in the field assigned to it. Local education authorities have no direct financial responsibility for TEC, nor could I offer an estimate of their indirect contributions to the Council's work. My Department has paid about £1,050,000 in grant to the Council since its establishment in 1973.
