§ 20. Mr. Alexander W. Lyonasked the Secretary of State for Transport how much of the transport policy programme grant to North Yorkshire for the coming financial year has been estimated on the basis of support for public transport.
§ Mr. HoramNorth Yorkshire will be paid £4 million in transport supplementary grant in 1978–79. The grant is not hypothecated to individual items of transport expenditure. Of the total transport budget accepted for TSG purposes, 6.3 per cent. is for public transport.
