The draft 1978 Community budget was deposited as R/1895/77. The amendments and modifications to the draft budget adopted by the European Parliament were deposited in November last and the results of the Council's consideration of them were set out in my reply of 28th November 1977 to the hon. Member for Southampton, Itchen (Mr. Mitchell)—[Vol. 940, c. 41–2.]. The 1978 Community budget as adopted will be published by the European Parliament in the Official Journal as soon as possible.
