§ Mr. EadieEmployment of consultants for the Government's energy conservation measures which were announced on 12th December 1977 are the responsibility of the several Departments concerned now completing their plans. The Department of Energy—not including ETSU—have so far employed up to 10 consultants for the Save It campaign, films, booklets and the Energy Quick Advice Service. Future employment will be affected by discussions now in progress. In addition, some 353 consultants are available under the Energy Survey Scheme, although, when used, these are not paid directly by this Department.
