asked the Minister for the Civil Service if he will list the vacancies which exist for chairmen, vice-chairmen and members of boards of nationalised industries and indicate in each case the length of time that the post has been unfilled.

Management responsibility for filling vacant posts in the nationalised industries lies with the board and the appropriate sponsoring departmental Minister. Information giving the details of vacancies, or about the length of time posts have been unfilled, is not held centrally.
