Mr. Nelsonasked the Secretary of State for Industry how many approaches he has received from trade unions requesting him to serve preliminary notices or orders under Part IV of the Industry Act 1975, requiring the disclosure of information from manufacturing companies; and how many notices or orders he has issued since the Act came into force.
