§ Mr. Brothertonasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received from the building and construction industry concerning his proposal to introduce a scheme to register building firms and their workers.
§ Mr. ArmstrongMy right hon. Friend has referred the proposals of the Construction Industry Manpower Board to the trades unions and employers federations concerned. Some preliminary views have been received, but it is too soon for most of the industry to have reached firm conclusions.
