Calculations of the amounts due to 108 former employees in respect of the protective award remuneration payable to them under Section 64 of the Employment Protection Act 1975 are being finalised. It is hoped that details of these calculations will be sent to the area officer of 655W the National Union of Tailors and Garment Workers—who is acting on behalf of those employees—by the end of this week. Attempts are being made to trace three other employees who are also covered by the award.
