§ Mr. Hugh D. BrownWith the co-operation of the National Farmers' Union of Scotland, my Department is currently seeking to assess the full effects of the 687W snowstorm. When that information is available, my right hon. Friend will consider whether he would find it helpful to have the advice of the committee on any action that might be necessary.
