BrownThe precise annual number is not known, but on the basis of sample surveys it is estimated that about 60 wholly tenanted full-time farms fall vacant and are available for reletting each year. This represents between three-quarters of 1 per cent. and 1 per cent. of all full-time wholly-tenantetd farms in Scotland.
