§ Mr. OakesHigher National Diplomas and Higher National Certificates are awarded in a number of branches of engineering but there is no single award in engineering draughtsmanship. Some draughtsmanship studies are included in the syllabuses of engineering courses which lead to national certificates or diplomas; the emphasis and duration of such studies depend on the nature of the overall discipline and on the wishes of the student.
