§ Mr. Monroasked the Secretary of State for Wales if he will announce the grant to the Sports Council of Wales for 1978–79 and give the percentage increase over 1977–78.
§ Mr. Barry JonesMy right hon. and learned Friend has told the Sports Council for Wales that subject to parliamentary approval that the grant in aid for 1978–79 will not be less than £1,580,000. This represents an increase of 21.5 per cent. over the 1977–78 grant in aid.
