§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in the light of the growing number of criminal cases of various sorts where those found guilty are known to be aliens and others here in the United Kingdom on temporary permits, in such cases he will, to assist the housing, unemployment and social problems including race relations, deport these people to their countries of origin.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesI consider on its individual merits, in accordance with the immigration rules, every case in which a court has recommended deportation.
