§ Mr. Robert SheldonUnited Kingdom drawings from the IMF after repayment of the $1,000 million announced by my 357W right hon. Friend the Chancellor of the Exchequer on 26th January will amount to some $3,900 million. $850 million of this can eventually be repaid with no effect on the reserves since the repayment of this amount will reconstitute the United Kingdom reserve tranche, which counts in the official reserves.
