§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisThe Financial and Explanatory Memoranda to the Scotland and Wales Bills state, respectively, that their proposals will require 750 additional civil servants in Scotland and 1,150 additional civil servants in Wales. There will be a further 250 civil servants in Wales as a result of decentralisation. The majority of these additional posts will be in the Administration Group, but it is not possible to say precisely how many.
