HC Deb 15 December 1978 vol 960 c467W
Mr. Park

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he is now in a position to say how many patients discharged from psychiatric hospitals in the city of Coventry, to the nearest convenient date, were discharged to no fixed abode.

Mr. Moyle:

I regret that this information is not readily obtainable and could be provided only at disproportionate time and cost. It is the practice of the Coventry area health authority to involve social workers in all cases of difficulty so that, wherever possible, patients are not discharged without alternative accommodation.
