§ Mrs. Haymanasked the Secretary of State for Social Services (1) what would be the saving on staff to his Department if the collection of maintenance for lone parents on supplementary benefit were taken over by another agency for (a) all, (b) 90 per cent., (c) 75 per cent., (d) 60 per cent. and (e) 50 per cent. of all existing cases where his Department currently collects payments ;
(2) what is his estimate of the number of staff required by a Government agency to be responsible for the collection of all maintenance payments to lone parents.
