§ Mr. William Rodgers:Rate support grant is not hypothecated to individual ser 190W vices. It is based on an estimate of the total of local authorities' relevant expenditure. Local transport services in England and Wales account for 10 .2 per cent, and 10 .1 per cent. of total relevant expenditure in the rate support grant settlements for 1978–79 and 1979–80 respectively.
