§ 33. Mr. Ronald Bellasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he has taken up to date to secure the release of Major Wigglesworth, a United Kingdom citizen, who was kidnapped some four months ago and is believed to be held by his captors somewhere in Mozambique.
§ Mr. Rowlands:We have made repeated inquiries to the Mozambican authorities and to ZANU about Major Wigglesworth; and we have asked the International Committee of the Red Cross for its assistance on his behalf. We shall continue our efforts to ascertain his whereabouts.
