§ Mr. Trotterasked the Secretary of State for Defence which ships will in future act as flagships of task groups deploying overseas having regard to the fact that HMS "Tiger" and HMS "Blake" have in recent years alternated in this role and that one of them is now withdrawn from full commission.
§ Mr. Duffy:In addition to the helicopter cruisers HMS "Tiger" and HMS "Blake," guided missile destroyers have acted as the flagships of task groups deploying overseas in recent years. It is expected that they will continue to do so.
