§ Mr. Ovendenasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is his latest estimate for each of the next five years of the United Kingdom's gross contribution, receipts and net contributions to the EEC budget.
§ Mr. Joel Barnett,pursuant to his reply[Official Report, 22nd November 1978; Vol. 958, c. 643]gave the following answer:
Estimates of the United Kingdom's gross and net contributions to, and receipts from, the Community budget for 1978 to 1980 were given in"The Proposed European Monetary System"Green Paper (Cmnd. 7405) published on 24th November.
The estimates for the years 1981 to 1983 will be published in the forthcoming public expenditure White Paper.
