§ Mr. John MorrisFollowing a review of the requirements this year of Welsh Office programmes as a whole, I am able to increase expenditure on the National Health Service in Wales by £3.0 million. It has also been possible to release a further £1.5 million to health authorities from this year's reserves. £4 million of this total of £4.5 million will be allocated to the authorities on a basis which reflects the relative burden of health care. The remaining £0.5 million will be used for specific projects of value to authorities generally.
