asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will list the diseases of which the infection has been traced to untreated milk in the last five years.

Since 1st January 1973, the Public Health Laboratory Service has recorded in England and Wales isolations of infectious organisms in untreated milk relating to the following diseases:

  • Food Poisoning (Salmonella)
  • Food Poisoning (Campylobacter)
  • Food Poisoning (Escherichia Coli)
