§ Mr. John FraserThe consultations foreshadowed in my reply to my hon. Friend, the Member for Bradford, South (Mr. Torney) on 8th March—[Vol. 945, c. 692–6]—have not yet been completed. In addition to whatever steps are decided upon in the light of these discussions, we shall emphasise in this year's firework safety campaign the illegality and potential danger of letting off fireworks in the street and the penalties to which offenders are liable on conviction.
