I have been asked to reply.

I understand that by 14th March 1978 the local authorities listed below had registered lottery schemes with the Gaming Board for Great Britain. Those marked with an asterisk have already submitted accounts, and are therefore known to have promoted lotteries. Others may well have promoted lotteries by now, although their accounts have not yet 21W been submitted. Comprehensive information about the proceeds of local authority lotteries will not be available until after 30th April: that is after the end of the first year in which it was possible to promote such lotteries.
