§ Mr. Molloyasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what procedures exist to allow interested persons to make complaints against the manner in which a planning inquiry has been held.
§ Mr. Guy Barnett:My right hon. Friend is naturally willing to look into any such complaints. If there were a serious procedural defect, a decision might be challenged in the High Court. Complaints may also be drawn to the attention of the Council on Tribunals or, through an hon. Member, of the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration. I am sending my hon. Friend a copy of the Guide to Procedure on Planning Appeals which is sent to all appellants.
