§ Mr. Rookerasked the Secretary of State for Industry how much assistance has been approved under the machine tool industry scheme at the latest date.
§ Mr. Cryer:Up to 21st October 1977 assistance totalling £11,606,000 has been approved under the Machine Tool Industry Scheme. This represents 102 applications for assistance. The amount of assistance has ranged from about £4,000 for one project to just over £1 million for another. The list of firms receiving assistance over £5,000 will be published, as usual, in Trade and Industry after the money is paid for each project.
