§ Mr. EnnalsIt is the statutory duty of the Registrar General to collect and publish a wide range of demographic statistics and this includes statistics on immigration. I refer the hon. Member to the Census Act 1920, Sections 5 and 2(2). the guidance I give depends on the particular issue under consideration.
