§ Mr. Sproatasked the Secretary of State for Scotland how many prisoners were 313W given parole in the last 12 month period for which figures are available; what was the average percentage reduction in the sentence originally pronounced as a result; and if he will give a breakdown of the numbers of prisoners paroled in relation to the offences committed by these prisoners.
