§ Mr. John FraserThe rôle of the transport users' consultative committees is currently under consideration in the light of the National Consumer Council's report on Consumers and the Nationalised Industries and of the White Paper on Transport Policy. The issues and the necessary consultations involved are complex, and the Government are not yet in a position to make a statement.
