§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for Industry how he proposes to keep the House informed of progress on the contract signed with the Chrysler Corporation and Chrysler United Kingdom Ltd.; and in particular if he will place in the Library the monthly reports which his Department receives from Chrysler United Kingdom Ltd. covering 11 significant indications of performance.
§ Mr. CryerThe monthly monitoring reports received by my Department are commercially confidential and it would therefore not be right for me to place copies in the Library. My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State will keep the House informed of the progress of Chrysler United Kingdom from time to time as appropriate.
§ Mr. Gryllsasked the Secretary of State for Industry how much has been paid to Chrysler (United Kingdom) Limited, in total, by his Department up to 15th November 1977, following the 5th January 1976 agreement between the Government and Chrysler (United Kingdom) Limited.
