§ Mr. Nobleasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science what decision she has reached on the future arrangements for the support from public funds of voluntary local youth service, village hall and community hall projects.
§ Miss Margaret Jackson:My right hon. Friend has decided, in the light of the representations she has received from the interested parties and the advice of the Youth Service Forum for England and Wales, that the present arrangements should continue. Local education authorities will be invited to submit their bids for a share of the 1978–79 programme allocation in the usual way.
