asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he is taking to assist Hong Kong following the recent visit to London by the Governor, Sir Murray MacLehose, and the urgent action which he requested regarding textiles.
§ Mr. Grieve
asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what is the policy of the Government of Hong Kong with regard to the licensing of gaming houses; and whether he envisages any change in such policy.
§ Mr. Luard:
Under the present policy, normal gaming houses are not permitted in Hong Kong. No changes to this policy are envisaged.
