asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what was the gross domestic product per capitain England, Scotland and Wales, respectively, at the last date for which the figures are available;

(2) what was the gross national product per capitain England, Scotland and Wales, respectively, for the last date for which figures are available.

Gross domestic productper capita—derived from the sum of all factor income from production—in England, Scotland and Wales is estimated to have been £1,686,£1,602 and £1,455, respectively, in 1975, the latest year for which estimates are available.
