§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table showing the effect of tax changes and of phases 1 and 2 of the incomes policy, on the net income after tax, national insurance contributions and family allowances/child benefits, but excluding means-tested benefits, of a single person, a married couple, and a married couple with one, two, three and four children, assuming incomes in April 1975 of £25, £30, £35, £40, £45, £50, £55, £60, £65 and £70, and assuming that in each case the maximum allowable wage increases have been paid.
